abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 8ee430276c Address order: sequential, reverse or random, per subnet and pool
- Which never-used pool address a new client gets: sequential (the
lowest, as before), reverse or random, in the settings, a subnet or
a single pool (FIRST-LAST:ORDER). When no never-used address is left,
the one free the longest, whatever the order; returning clients keep
  theirs.
- A subnet's pools are used in the order listed, or one at random
weighted by its never-used addresses. Pools now keep the order they
are given in (no more sorting by address).
- CLI --address-order and --pool-order; --add-pool of an existing range
changes its order in place. Web UI: per-pool order and a move-up
button, pool and address order on the subnet and settings pages.
- Kea's allocator: random is imported. Schema migration 5.

abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 5e6c61cc8e Hidden interfaces, last-seen pings, activity by subnet
- interfaces.exclude in steward.yaml (names or shell patterns) leaves
interfaces out of GET /interfaces, the web UI's picker and
'steward interface list'. Subnets on them are still served.
- With the ping check on, active leases are pinged every minute; a
client that answers gets a last-seen time (leases.last_seen,
migration 4). Not answering never takes a client offline.
- The activity log filters by subnet (--subnet, the Activity page,
  GET /events?subnet=).

abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 6ad1bb9a0d Disable reservations; subnet enable/disable buttons; page-head CSS fix
release / release (push) Successful in 5m53s
- A disabled reservation is kept but ignored: the client gets a pool
address like any other (steward reservation disable|enable, buttons and
a checkbox in the web UI). Schema migration 3.
- Subnets get Disable/Enable buttons on their page and in the list.
- A rule left without its selector in style.css broke the page heading's
layout, so the New ... buttons sat cramped under the description.

abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 7b3f0f764c The web UI's certificate from Let's Encrypt, through Jarl
tls.acme names the certificate and jarl: the Jarl server and a token that
may only write the challenge record. Steward gets the certificate with
DNS-01 (lego), writing the record through Jarl's API into every view that
has the zone, renews it with a third of its lifetime left and swaps it
in without a restart. A check runs before every order: Jarl, the zone,
the token's permission, a test record, the zone's name servers, public
resolvers, clean-up; each step says what to fix. Staging by default.

With a certificate, each listener serves HTTPS and plain HTTP on one port
(redirecting plain HTTP, except from the server itself).

steward cert / cert check / cert renew, Server -> Certificate in the web
UI, GET /certificate, POST /certificate/check|renew. docs/certificates.md
and docs/jarl.md (the Jarl user and the token's grant).

abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 8a69038ab5 Admin name at init, token rotation, read-only forms, token role presets
- stewardd init asks for the first administrator's name on a terminal.
- Tokens can be rotated (steward token rotate, POST /tokens/{id}/rotate,
Rotate in the web UI), with a grace period for the old secret, as in
Jarl. Schema migration 2 adds the token columns.
- Read-only users see the settings and a subnet's settings locked,
instead of editable fields without a Save button.
- The New token dialog only offers roles within what the user may do.

abrown38andClaude Opus 5.5 3c0808591f Steward 0.1.0 (in development): a DHCPv4 server with a web UI, API and CLI
Subnets served per interface, pools, reservations, options at three
levels, leases in SQLite saved before the ACK, ping and decline conflict
checks, validated changes with history and undo, users and tokens, an
audit log, a Kea importer, a sandboxed systemd unit and Debian packages.
Tested with real udhcpc and dhcpcd clients in Docker (scripts/e2e.sh).
